Although we try as best we can to keep to the itinerary, we may, and, retain the right to, change the itinerary as circumstances may require in order to ensure the security of the members and for the betterment of the tour. We do not refund the cost of any services not used.
We also reserve the right to change the itinerary before the commencement of the tour. We strive to adhere to the original itinerary, circumstances may arise where hotel accomodation is suspended, roads are closed, train services are put on hold, etc, and we do not have control over those circumstances.
If the extent of change is grave, i.e. departure date is changed, highlight visit is cancelled, grade of hotel is changed, etc, you will have a choice of cancelling the tour and the money paid to us is refunded fully.
In the unlikely event that the minimum number of two participants is not reached, Gem Japan Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour. In this event, we will notify you about the cancellation no later than 30 days in advance of the tour commencement.
It is mandatory that you have adquate travel insurance for your tour.
Gem Japan Tours does not provide any travel insurance for tour participants.
It is your responsibility to purchase your own travel insurance, which
covers personal accident, injury, medical expenses, repatriation, loss of personal effects, or whatever you think is suitable for your needs.
