We are leaving this beautiful country today and, although we look forward to being home again, we will miss Japan.
Yesterday we spent a long time in the garden. What an exquisite place! Despite a cloudy and rainy day, the garden glowed with red maples and golden ginkos. It was a perfect ending to our trip.
We are so delighted that we had the pleasure to take your tour. The itinerary was perfect for us, with its balance of cities and countryside, castles and gardens, hotels and the magnificent ryokan.
And you were the perfect guide for us, knowledgeable, funny, insightful. We so enjoyed every minute we spent with you!

My wife and I spent the month of September touring with Gem Tours. This was our first time to Japan and we wanted to get a sense of the country without travelling in a large group. Yoshi provided us with an incredible experience that we could have never matched on our own. He took us from big cities to small villages and always provided the best accommodations in a mix of country inns and upscale hotels. Yoshi was our guide on a tremendous tour through various parts of Japan, he lead us to Kamakura, Hakone, Atami, Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo. This tour was a lifetime experience for us, thanks to Yoshi. We spent two weeks on the Thousand Cranes tour in March during the time of the cherry blossoms. We were a family group of 5 ranging in ages from 3 to 68 and we all had a wonderful time. Yoshi is a great guide and he really does take care of everything making our trip stress-free. He was very knowledgeable, charming and patient. By the end of the trip we all considered him to be a good friend. During our stay we got a taste of Japan that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
